Ich wollte an dieser Stelle mal auf den Blog von Todd Wood verweisen. Todd ist sehr nett und wirklich ein "Highlight" in kreationistischen Kreisen.
Kostprobe?

Evolution is not a theory in crisis. It is not teetering on the verge of collapse. It has not failed as a scientific explanation. There is evidence for evolution, gobs and gobs of it. It is not just speculation or a faith choice or an assumption or a religion. It is a productive framework for lots of biological research, and it has amazing explanatory power. There is no conspiracy to hide the truth about the failure of evolution. There has really been no failure of evolution as a scientific theory. It works, and it works well.

I say these things not because I'm crazy or because I've "converted" to evolution. I say these things because they are true. I'm motivated this morning by reading yet another clueless, well-meaning person pompously declaring that evolution is a failure. People who say that are either unacquainted with the inner workings of science or unacquainted with the evidence for evolution. (Technically, they could also be deluded or lying, but that seems rather uncharitable to say. Oops.)

Creationist students, listen to me very carefully: There is evidence for evolution, and evolution is an extremely successful scientific theory.

Todd nimmt kein Blatt vor den Mund und sagt genau, weshalb er dennoch Kreationist ist und die Evolution ablehnt. Vergleichbares (im englischsprachigen Raum) kenne ich eigentlich nur von Kurt Wise (wenn auch deutlich schwächer) und von Paul Nelson (mit John Reynolds), die einräumen:

Natural science at the moment seems to overwhelmingly point to an old cosmos. Though creationist scientists have suggested some evidence for a recent cosmos, none are widely accepted as true. It is safe to say that most recent creationists are motivated by religious concerns.

Todd macht sich oft sehr unbeliebt, weil er solche Statements macht und unter anderem auch Intelligent Design nicht viel abgewinnen kann. Ich schätze ihn sehr für seine Ehrlichkeit zu sagen, was Sache ist und das obwohl er sehr oft nicht verstanden wird.
Todd ist außerdem ein unglaublich produktiver Kreationist im Vergleich zu seinen Kollegen. Ich will das jetzt mal gar nicht im Einzelnen bewerten, was er an Schöpfungsforschung liefert. Was mir gefällt ist, dass er vermutlich zehnmal so viel wirklich versucht auf wissenschaftlicher Ebene zu arbeiten, als die meisten seiner englischsprachigen Kollegen und ironischer Weise trotzdem viel geringere Ansprüche stellt, als diese.
